We are honored to invite Dr. Zhenmin Ni  to share the innovative work of his company GABAeron. GABAeron was co-founded by three world-renowned scientists — Dr. Robert Mahley (discoverer of the APOE protein), Professor Yadong Huang (who first revealed how the APOE4 gene induces Alzheimer’s disease), and Professor Sheng Ding (inventor of small-molecule-induced stem cell differentiation). The company is dedicated to developing stem-cell-derived SST inhibitory neuron transplantation to rebuild damaged neural networks in Alzheimer’s patients, opening a new path to reverse cognitive decline and bringing hope to millions of patients and families worldwide.

Dr. Zhenmin Ni is the Chief Business Officer and Corporate Secretary of GABAeron Inc. He earned his medical degree from Lanzhou University and a Master of Medicine in Pharmacology from the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences and Peking Union Medical College. With over three decades of experience in biomedical research and leadership, Dr. Ni has held scientific and executive positions at UC Irvine, Alljoy Health Management, and Akrigene Diagnostics, before joining GABAeron in 2024. He has published more than 70 peer-reviewed research papers in nephrology, pharmacology, and genetic medicine, and has received multiple honors including the Young Investigator Award from the American Society of Nephrology. At GABAeron, Dr. Ni plays a key role in advancing corporate strategy, partnerships, and clinical translation of the company’s groundbreaking Alzheimer’s therapy.
